PATIENTS FIRST VISIT CONSULTATION AND MEDICAL HISTORY On the first day, patients will be greeted and offered a healthy refreshment as they fill out patient forms. These include a medical history, our office policy, as well as HIPAA guidelines. In addition, our friendly staff will ask to make a copy of your insurance card and a photo I.D. The doctor will perform a full consultation. They will then talk with the patient about their medical history followed by a detailed examination. EXAMINATION The doctor will complete a thorough examination complete with orthopedic, neurological, postural, range-of-motion, and several other assessment tests in order to best treat the patient’s specific problem. If necessary, x-rays will be taken in order to better help the doctor’s diagnosis. If any additional tests are required (MRI, CAT scan, etc.), the doctor will refer the patient to a trusted local facility or doctor. REPORT OF FINDINGS After the first visit, patients will return the following day to receive their report of findings. This is a very informative appointment which will reveal the patient's x-rays, the doctor’s diagnosis, and prescription for care. At this time patient’s are encouraged to ask questions and be an active learner in fully comprehending their condition. TREATMENT Treatment will begin on the second day following the report of findings. After the recommended therapy, The doctor will perform a safe, gentle, and highly effective adjustment. In addition, the doctor will recommend any additional vitamins or home instructions that may improve the stability of the adjustment.
